Before the Event

1. Set a personal fundraising goal.
2. Set up your personal online donation page.
3. Fundraise!
4. Collect the money in advance.
   Ask your sponsors to PAY WHEN THEY PLEDGE. This will help you avoid making a second trip to collect the contributions. Checks should be made payable to: “AIDS Walk Colorado” or simply “AWC.” Their cancelled check will be their receipt.

Matching Gifts Can Easily Double Your Money

You may be able to double your contributions to AIDS Walk! Ask those who sponsor you if their company has a matching gift program. Hundreds of companies match the donations given by their employees. Also check with your own employer to see if they will match your donation and/or the money you raise. Please bring any matching gift forms with you, completed and signed, to sign-in on the morning of the event, or earlier.

Earn Fundraising Awards!

Great awards will be offered to those who turn in the following amounts of money by Friday, September 26:

• $150 or more: Official AIDS Walk T-shirt.
• $500 or more: Official Event Sigg water bottle.
• $1,000 or more: Official Event Messenger Bag, plus the above.

Fast track your AIDS Walk & Run experience by turning in money on one of our pre-event collection dates:

• Wednesday, September 3, 4:00 - 8:00 PM
• Thursday, September 4, 4:00 - 8:00 PM
• Friday, September 5, 4:00 - 8:00 PM
